“Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice.” – Philippians 4:4

Lord, thank you for giving us so much to rejoice about. The joy you have given us is not a fleeting joy but rather a joy we have access to at all times. Allow my husband to experience the joy that you have given him abundantly. Let him walk with a joyful heart as you shape him to be more like you. Make his joy contagious to others and use it to spread hope to a world that needs to know you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If your husband is struggling to find joy in his life, show him some understanding. This world can sometimes be filled with many sorrows and frustration and a lack of joy is a normal response to that. Pray that his joy may be filled again and in the meantime, be sure to find some joy yourself and allow him to borrow the overflow of yours.
