Lord, how great a gift is the forgiveness you give us. Whenever my husband strays from you may the Holy Spirit be right there to put him back on the right path. May his heart always be humble enough to receive correction and may it always be sensitive to when he sins against you. I ask that you always make any hidden deeds of darkness be brought forth into the light in his life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Once again, if you are unsure of your husband’s salvation, use this opportunity to pray for true repentance of unbelief. Of all the sins that we each need forgiven of, this by far is the most important.
