“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” – John 1:12

Lord, thank you making my husband your own, for taking his sin and exchanging it for righteousness. Thank you that because of you he is no longer a sinner but a saint. Remind him of that today. Allow him to feel deep in his soul what it is to be a chosen and dearly love child of yours. Help him in all that he does to be a reflection of who you say that he is. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Identity is a big thing so many of us struggle with. It’s equally important for you who know who you are in Christ as well. Your identity will never be found in anything other than Jesus. It no longer even needs to be looked for as God has already declared who you are in Him and he has declared your worth. Make sure this is settled in your own heart as well.
