Dear Lord,
Thank You for giving my husband the gift of self-control through Your Holy Spirit. I’m so grateful that You’ve made a way for him to live protected and guarded from the schemes of the enemy. Today, I ask that the voice of Your Spirit would speak clearly in his heart—leading him toward what is good, righteous, and life-giving. Help him to say no to the things that harm and yes to the things that align with Your best for him. Strengthen him daily to walk in the Spirit.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Self-control is a powerful guardrail in our lives—and in marriage, it becomes a covering of protection, wisdom, and strength.

Is there a specific area where your husband needs prayer for greater self-control? Maybe it’s with his health, his reactions, his time management, or a private battle like pornography.
