Praying for Your Husband 30 Day Challenge

Have the kind of character that others can depend on.

Lord, thank you for always being dependable. You are always faithful and right on time. Help my husband to be a man who is dependable and who does the things he says he will do. May those around him, including me always know that he can be counted on. Help him to not overcommit his time and energy so he can be found faithful with it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Quite often husbands struggle with being dependable because they fall more on the passive side and can have concerns for disappointing you or others, so they say yes when they really mean no. They also often struggle with the fear of failure that tempts them to quit before following through. If this sounds like your husband, check out episode 26, Growth for the Passive Husband on the Expedition Marriage Podcast or your husband and you both can listen to Chris’s story Confessions of a Passive Husband on Not Your Average Man.
